The Little Electric Train runs from 1 June to 19 September 2021.

The Little Train offers two circuits to discover the city centre and the Medieval City of Carcassonne. The first circuit links the Square André Chénier to the Cité Médiévale. The second one links the Medieval City to André Chénier Square. The Petit Train offers you an original opportunity to admire many atypical and historical places such as the Square André Chénier, the Place Davilla, the Cathedral Saint-Michel, the Portail des Jacobins, the Dôme, the Bridge, the Pont-Vieux, the Rue Trivalle without forgetting the Cité Médiévale. The monuments of Carcassonne will no longer hold any secrets for you! From your Bed and Breakfast La Villa-Carcassonne you will have to go to the Medieval City to catch the train.

Price for a tour : 4€

Price for two tours: 6€.

Tickets can be purchased from the driver or on the RTCA mobile application.

Payment by credit card is available on board the vehicle.

The TOUC: Shuttle in the city centre

The TOUC runs from 1 June to 30 September.

Get around the Bastide Saint-Louis with our FREE, 100% electric shuttle: the TOUC!

Without noise or pollution, it will take you wherever you want to go in the Bastide. The TOUC makes regular stops at predefined points.

From your accommodation at La Villa-Carcassonne, you will have to cross the bridge to meet it.

Do not hesitate to ask the driver at any time when the TOUC is passing by to get on board!

Boat on the Canal du Midi

2 companies offer small river cruises on the Canal du Midi with passage of locks, passage of the Epanchoir de Foucault, the Meridian, the canal bridge and view on the Medieval City.

Aboard the Cocagne. Commented cruises of 1h15 (City cruise: departure at 2pm and 6pm) and 2h (Discovery cruise: departure at 10am and 3:30pm). Possibility to privatize the boat for special events. July and August: departure at 10am – 2pm – 3:30pm – 6pm, every day. Off season: departure at 10am – 2pm – 3:30pm (except on Tuesdays).
Aboard the Lou Gabaret or the Hélios. Five itineraries starting from the Port of Carcassonne: trips lasting from 1h30 to 2h45 depending on the itinerary chosen. Depending on the season, there are two to eight departures per day. In July and August, for the more romantic, every lunchtime, there is a picnic cruise with a stopover in the garden of Foucaud on the banks of the Canal du Midi.
